The Men's Spring Season games are mostly played on the main nights of Tuesday and/or Thursday. You may have a few games scheduled on other days but the bulk
of the games are on the main nights. If you are registering as a team and you prefer a specific night please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best
to accommodate your team. The Sunday Night League is played on Sunday evening. The Men's Late Summer Season games are played on Monday and Wednesday nights.
The Women's Spring League is always on Thursday nights.
The games are in the evening. Weekday games can start any time between 7PM and 10PM. Sunday games can start as early as 6PM.
The games are indoor at various hockey arenas in Burlington such as Skyway Arena, Mountainside Arena, Aldershot Arena
and Northwentworth Arena. Maps to the arenas can be found on

In the Men's Spring Season League it is one game per week with some weeks with 2 games. The regular season is
approximately 16 games in 12 to 13 weeks then playoffs for another 4 to 5 weeks. The Men's Late Summer Season League is
twice a week for approximately 7 weeks. The Women's Spring League is always once a week.
In the Men's Spring Season League each team is guaranteed 16 games. There are 16 Regular Season games plus Playoff games if you qualify.
Our intentions are to get every team involved in the Playoffs but based on the number of teams in a Division sometimes this is not possible. A team
could play up to approximately 9 BBHL Playoff games. With the addition of the OBHA Provincial Championship games for BBHL representatives and
potential National Championships a team could play 35+ games. The Men's Late Summer Season League is approximately 9 Regular Season games plus
Playoffs. The Women's Spring League is approximately 12-13 games plus Playoffs with the addition of Provincial Championship games for BBHL
representatives and potential National Championships.
The Men's Spring Seasons starts in mid/late April. The Regular Season ends in mid July and playoffs can run into mid/late August. The Men's OBHA
Provincial Championships are played in August. The Men's Late Summer Season starts in mid August and runs into late September. The Women's Spring
League starts in early May with the playoffs starting in August. The Women's OBHA Provincial Championships are played in August.
A CSA Approved Hockey helmet, Hockey gloves and athletic cup are mandatory. Soft elbow pads, approved shin / knee pads and facial protection are
recommended. Full CSA Approved facial protection is mandatory in the Women's Divison.
There are no set age groups, the Divisons are based on the calibre of the players. The number of Divisons is determined by the number of teams registered.

All registrants (or Team Representatives) receive a Player/Team Package, League
Games + Playoff scheduled in indoor Arenas, Certified Officials, OBHA
Membership, Insurance coverage, Online Player game by game Statistics/Standings
and a chance at a Provincial or even National Championship. Individual
Registrants also receive a Team Jersey.
We always try to place you with the people you want to play with but there could a be situation were this is not possible.
You can register as an individual or register an entire team which requires
13-15 committed full time players and a few spares with a maximum of up to 22 players.
Yes, our Divisons are based on the calibre/skill level of the players. The number of Divisons is determined by the number of teams registered.
The winners get a commemorative BBHL souvenir such as a jacket, fleece, bag, shirt. The prize may vary by year and Divison. You could also represent the BBHL
at the OBHA Provincial Championships.
The Ontario Ball Hockey Association Provincial Championships is a Tournament held in late August of all the participating League Champions or Representatives
from all over Ontario in hope of a Provincial title and the shot at a National Championship. The location of the tournament varies by year.
The Canadian Ball Hockey Association National Championships is a tournament for the Provincial Championship winners. The tournament is held the following year
and the location of the tournament varies by year.
